Studio Rules

We can’t wait to host you in our space.

Please review our policies and guidelines before booking.

No Outdoor Shoes

Please note there are no outdoor shoes in the studio rooms for photographers and other team members.  Photographers, please ensure you bring indoor shoes or wear shoe coverings.  All wedding parties must ensure their shoes are clean. There is a damage fee for standing on the furniture.

A cleaning fee ranging from $40 to $120 will be charged if outdoor shoes are worn inside the studio.

No Food or Drinks

No food or drinks is allowed in the studio.

No Pets

Unless approval is obtained by the Studio staff. A non-refundable $40.00 cleaning fee is charged on top of regular booking.

No Sublease or Time Sharing

Customer should not sublease or share time whole or any part of rental space or assign the agreement in whole or in part of rental space.

Suitable for Next Customer

The Studio must be returned to its original state before the end of your booking. A cleaning fee of $40-$120 may be charged if the Studio is not suitable for the next customer.

Arrive On Time For Your Booking

We recommend arriving at our studio on time for the start of your booking. If you arrive early, please wait outside the studio until your scheduled time. We don’t have a waiting room or common room in the studio.

Leave Things As You Find Them

Our staff will visit your studio room within 10 minutes prior to the end of your booking to ensure that the room is left in its original condition. Furniture and props need to be moved back to their original place and all garbage must be placed into garbage cans.

A fee ranging from $40 to $120 will be charged if furniture and props are not restored to the original place.

Staff Check-ins

Our studio staff can check the rooms during your studio time if we hear loud noises, dragging of furniture, or suspected violation of studio rules and/or safety. They will knock on the door before entering and give you a warning before coming in.

Capacity Limits

Each room has designated capacity limits determined by the square footage of the desired studio space, in compliance with city By-Laws.

-        Studio A: Maximum of 10 attendees including photographers/videographers.

-        Studio B: Maximum of 10 attendees including photographers/videographers.

-        Entire Studio: Maximum of 20 people including photographers/videographers.

-        Minimum booking requirement for more than 10 attendees is to book both studios for 2 hours.

Any deliberate violation of By-Laws may lead to the termination of the session without refunds.

No Adult or Pornographic Photo Shoots

Our studios cannot be used to shoot pornographic content.


No Alcohol Permitted on the Premises

Liquor of any sort is not permitted to consume on the premises. If a member of your party comes to the studio intoxicated, we reserve the right to ask them to leave the premises.

No Smoking or Drugs

Smoking (including recreational drugs) is not permitted on studio premises.

Stay Within Your Studio

Your booking is only for the studio that you rented. If you would like a tour of other studio, kindly ask our staff and we will be happy to assist you.

No Active Flames Permitted

No active flames are permitted in the Studio. A fire extinguisher is located at entrance.

Booking Termination & Bans

Please note that failure to respect the studio rules, studio staff, or other bookers, will result in immediate termination of your booking and can result in a permanent ban from May 11 Studio.

Our Rooms Are Not Soundproof

Our studios are not soundproof, if you need to shoot video content please contact us directly at may11studiowpg@gmail.com. Since the studio rooms are not soundproof, please keep the noise level to a reasonable volume, including any use of music. Music played in the studio must not contain any explicit content. If the noise becomes too loud, we will ask you to turn it down.
